I was born and grew up in Yorkshire, and have travelled extensively, living abroad as part of my military service and tours of duty. But it Yorkshire that was in my heart, and after I left the military came to settle near Catterick, North Yorkshire with my wife and young family.
"My name is Lee Taylor. I served for 22 years in the British Army, as a Radar Technician in The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. I humbly ask all the good people living in the constituency of Richmond and Northallerton to vote for me on July 4th and send me as your ambassador to London to secure great things for this area."
LEE TAYLOR lost no time in getting his campaign off the ground. As soon as Rishi Sunak had announced to the British people that he had sought the King's permission to dissolve parliament on 22nd May, Lee started on the long-hard road of door-knocking.
Originally from Yorkshire, I’ve lived in North Yorkshire for 21 years, with 17 years of experience as a councillor in the area. Previously an industrial chemist, I'm married with two grown-up children living locally. I’m a keen cyclist, a classic car enthusiast, and enjoy volunteering when the opportunity arises.
